FORGOTTEN TO LOVE

Christians, Have We Forgotten to LOVE?

My prayer
"Heart of God, beat strong in me,
May I communicate your thoughts clearly
Speak to your people, in Jesus name, Amen"

This breaks my heart...because it breaks the heart of God.

You know sometimes as Christians, it's so easy to get lost in our Christian 'world'. Just worried about Christians friends, worried about your next breakthrough, worried about your victory over secret sins, your next blessing, worried about how you can know the Bible more, and pray more and all the good Christian activities...but then we do this so much that we forget the world...

Christians, have you ever just looked around yourself and seen the disconnection you have with the world? I have, I have become so detached from the world that I am sent to minister to. In place of love, pride has come, in place of compassion, judging, in place of giving, receiving, in place of caring, numbness. Is this happening to you?

I mean how often do we even get struck with tears when we see young women lost (even in our churches), out there trying to find love from men who are using them, or the young guy who never had a father and you just heard that he died on TV from a life of drugs, or the millions dying of hunger, even in our own country...Do this things strike our compassionate hearts, or do they reach cold hearts which simply say "O I wish they knew Jesus like I do", or maybe do we say "O that's sad" and just move on with our lives. Is that compassion?

We like to talk about doctrines, and who our favorite pastors are, we like to hang out with other believers and talk about our favorite gospel songs, and feel good that we are 'living the life', but is our love growing cold?

This world is desperate for a taste of true love, a taste of true compassion...it's desperate for loving Christians who will lay down their Christian 'world' for a dying world.

"My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue, but in deed and in truth" 1 John 3:18.

The greatest power that will break the gates of hell, and loosen the chains of those bound by hate, hateful and hating one another, is LOVE. A loving Christian who is not just stuck doing his/her christian 'tasks', but one who above all things YEARNS to show the world a glimpse of the LOVE OF GOD for them.

O can we are arise today my people...I am not just trying to write a blog for the sake of writing a blog, but because all of us alike have fallen short of the love of God, and we have not manifested the character of God to a cold world...Let us fast and pray, and seek God in His word that He would awaken us, and in contemplation of His love for us, we would become changed (We are just as undeserving of His love as anyone is).

"Beloved if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another." 1 John 4:11
O I pray that the words of this verse would capture our hearts, and revive them from their cold slumber.

Getting back to Eden!

When i first heard this song i was like WOOW!!This song means alot to me and it really touched my Heat, the part of my Heart that's really heard to touch. maybe it touched my Heart because at the time that's how i was feelling about things and about life. I was soo messed up in the head about things at work, school, and even at home. So i was on youtube listening to some Lauryn Hill and that's when i came across this song I get Out!! i had already heard the song before and i was like ok this is a good song. But that day i REALLy listened to the song. And at that moment in time it became more than just a song by Lauryn Hill it Became THE STORY OF MY LIFE!! I Get Out.......Just Get Out!!!!
